Contracts

All sales are deemed to take place under English law and governed by the law of England and Wales.

Postage 

We aim to pack and dispatch all orders within 24 hours of payment (Monday to Friday).  Currently we free postage within the UK, no matter how much you buy. This is for second class untracked post. If you wish to get your items quicker or have them tracked we can arrange this for an additional payment. Please email joyce.bennell@btinternet.com for further help.

Good sent second class should arrive in 3-4 days. First class should arrive in 1-2 days.

Please note: Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods in the time specified, we cannot guarantee delivery in that time period or accept liability for deliveries made outside of this time-scale. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries. 

Royal Mail will not deem a parcel to be lost until it has been in the postal system for a period of 15 calendar days (UK) and 21 calendar days for International orders. Although it is highly unlikely deliveries will take this amount of time we are unable to despatch a replacement or issue a refund until this period of time has elapsed. If you have ordered a large item, please check that your local post office is not holding it for collection or that the postman hasn’t left it with a neighbour..

Should your order not arrive within the estimated time please email us and we will replace the item or refund your money if you prefer. 

Packaging 

We make every effort to ensure your parcel will survive the journey to your door. We frequently recycle delivery boxes so don’t be alarmed if your parcel is marked with the name of an item you haven’t ordered. Likewise, you may get your parcel in a box which previously contained copy paper. Recycling is not only a greener way to run the business but it helps keep our costs down. 

PLEASE NOTE – if you request a gift wrapped item to be sent direct to the recipient we will always use new packaging..All items are packaged securely to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.

What if I'm not in to receive delivery?

If you've missed the delivery you should receive a calling card.

For Royal Mail items you can collect the item from your local post office depot or a neighbour.  Please check the calling card to find out where it is.

Overseas Delivery

We post to a selection of European Countries and further afield including Australia.  If you wish to have items sent overseas please email us for a postage quote before ordering. 

PLEASE NOTE – our business liability insurers forbid us to sell to North America so we regret we cannot send items to those countries. This includes posting a gift item direct even if you live in the UK.

Bank Holiday Delivery

Bank Holidays are not classed as a working day so these are not included in the estimated delivery times. If you order on a bank holiday weekend your order will be sent on the Tuesday.

Severe Weather/Industrial action etc 

In 2010 we experienced considerable delays to areas where the snow was severe. If there are likely to be delays caused by severe weather conditions we shall do our best to keep the parcels moving but please make allowances. Where necessary we shall look at alternative means of delivery.

In the event of industrial action by the post office we shall look at alternative service providers. 

Please also bear in mind that overseas deliveries may be affected by weather conditions or other events which disrupt air travel.

 

Returns 

We want happy customers and we want you to love our products so you recommend your friends to visit our shop. If you wish to return an item please email us within 14 days and return it within another 14. Return postage will not be refunded unless the item is faulty or we have sent you the wrong item.

Some items are not returnable. These are personalised items and items where return is not possible for hygienic reasons eg underwear and swim nappies. If you ahve a problem with any items of that nature please email us and we shall do our best to assist. 

 

Privacy Policy

We will not sell or otherwise divulge your details to a third party other than where the law requires it ( fraud investigation etc).  We may contact you from time to time if we have special offers we feel may interest you but we promise not to bombard you with emails or junk mail.
